Work and Leisure

Where I'm From I was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. Actually, I'm from a very small town called Hellam, just outside the city of York. I gradutated from Eastern York High School in the spring of 1992, and from the University of Delaware in May 1997. Now I'm a resident of Newark, Delaware.
School/College I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a minor in Computer Science. Eventually I'll be posting some of the work I did (papers, projects, etc.) during my undergraduate studies.
Employment I'm a Systems Engineer and Webmaster for GE Capital Modular Space. I keep all of our Sun UNIX servers running, including web, database, mail, DNS, and remote access servers, along with an assortment of NT servers. I also get into a bit of LAN/WAN support when necessary.

I also have a small side-business called Bits 'N Bytes, where I utilize my web development skills. See my BNB home page for a list of sites that I manage.

Feel free to take a look at my resume if you're interested.

My Computers My primary workstation is a Pentium 133 with 128MB RAM running Windows NT. My second system is a Pentium 166 with 90MB RAM running Solaris x86. I also have an old HP 486 running Solaris x86. With these machines, I can do pretty much anything Windows or UNIX related. And it's safer than experimenting on corporate production servers... :)
My Hobbies I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Dina, listening to music, DJ'ing / professional audio, computers, theatre, and driving my Chevy 4x4. Lately, you can find me watching South Park and attempting to grow several varieties of palms in my house.
Things I Don't Like People who don't use turn signals, slow network connections, poor sound systems, credit card bills, clueless people.
Organizational Affiliations I was the Vice-President of LMUG (Lancaster Microcomputer Users Group) from 1991 to 1995. I've recently passed the FE exam, so I'm now officially an "Engineering Intern" as defined by the National Society of Professional Engineers.
